Full job description

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Legal Admin Assistant to join our team. This role requires at least 2 yearsof hands-on experience working at a law firm, ideally in personal injury law. A background in paralegal work and/or a law degree is strongly preferred. As the first point of contact for our firm, excellent communication and phone skills are essential. You’ll support attorneys in daily operations, manage administrative legal tasks, and ensure smooth case coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and screen incoming calls with professionalism; escalate urgent matters to attorneys promptly
  • Draft and format legal documents, motions, and correspondence
  • File legal documents through online court systems and legal portals
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and communications using Outlook 365
  • Maintain and update case files, records, and data in Excel and legal management systems
  • Coordinate with clients, court clerks, and opposing counsel
  • Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury case management

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal at a law firm
  • Personal injury law experience is a major plus
  • A law degree or partial legal education is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Outlook 365, Excel, and legal e-filing systems
  • Strong familiarity with online portals for filing motions, pleadings, and court forms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident and courteous phone presence with the ability to triage and escalate as needed
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities remotely
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional in all interactions
